Paying too much for Home Insurance?Did you know that Texas has the highest Homeowners insurance rates in the Nation?
This according to Forbes.com

Did you know that according to the Texas Department of Insurance and HoustonChronicle.com, providers only paid out 57% of the insurance premium they brought in 2005?   In 2004, they only paid 27.8%?

Well it’s true. Even with all the hurricanes and tornados and hail storms and killer mold.  Even with all this, they only paid out an average of .42 cents on the dollar over the last two years. 

Did your homeowners insurance go down?  Mine didn't.  In fact, they will justify their next rate increase on the fact that we always have hurricanes and tornados and hail storms and killer mold.  Unless, we do something, then this will keep on happening.
